SisterHermana needs volunteers for a one-day outdoor event to reach out to hard to count citizens to help them complete the online census. Volunteer shifts begin from 8:30 a.m. Masks and gloves will be provided. Responsibilities will be assigned on-site. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Pre-event setup (from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.)
Assist participants, if necessary, in completing the online forms
Measure off social distancing blocks
Sign-in participants
Serve food
Give out raffle tickets for gift basket drawings
Post-event clean up (from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.)
About the organization
Established March 2014, the SisterHermana Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit social impact organization. Our mission is to serve adults in treatment for cancer with empathy and compassion by directing our efforts towards reducing the emotional and financial burden of cancer recovery on the family, so the adult with cancer can focus on healing.
