We'll be working on trail maintenance at Palmetto Leaves Regional Park on Old St. Augustine Road on Friday, July 6th, from 9 a.m. to noon!
BE SURE TO GO TO THE SOUTH ENTRANCE off Old St. Augustine Road and meet in the parking lot by the Nature Center. Entrance is across the street from Publix, 13820 Old St. Augustine Road.
Bring a kayak or canoe and paddle Julington Creek after!
Please bring pruners/loppers, work gloves and water (but water will be available).
For all projects, volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes. Work gloves, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, sunglasses and water are highly recommended. Volunteers must follow all park rules and policies, as well as promote and exhibit safe behavior at all times. Children under 16 must be supervised by their parent/guardian or scout leader during the project. Anyone under 18 years old must have signature of parent/guardian on liability waiver prior to starting work.
