Knocking for Knockers - City Wide Day of Action for Breast Cancer Awareness

Calendar Happens On Oct 3, 2026
Time 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Description

The fight against cancer is often framed as a purely medical challenge, but in reality, it is deeply connected to public policy, education, social conditions, and community advocacy. Voting, advocating for strong public health laws, cancer awareness education, cancer initiatives, and even pregnancy-related health issues are all interconnected parts of a broader public health strategy. Together, they demonstrate that reducing cancer’s impact requires not only scientific progress but also civic engagement and social action. Join the Sisterermana Foundation as we take to the streets, connecting with neighbors and sharing life-saving information to reduce late-stage breast cancer diagnoses.

How You Can Participate:
Tier A: Canvass your own neighborhood
Tier B: Join a Strike Team in  Priority Health Zones.

What You'll Do:
Knock on doors, share education, distribute kits, and connect neighbors to care.

One conversation can lead to early detection. Early detection can save a life. Your participation makes that possible.
