On October 6, 2014, I lost my husband Horace Glover, Sr, to colon cancer at the age of 49 less than six months after being diagnosed stage 4 metastasized to the liver. I will not say he did not have any symptoms; I will say we did not know what they were. Since his death, I have been promoting Colon Cancer Awareness. It is the inspiration behind the Taking it to the Streets to for Life Program. Now, that the world is talking about colon cancer because of the loss of our beloved King Chadwick Boseman please join the SisterHermana Foundation Saturday as we canvass to drop literature about colon cancer its' sign and symptoms at the door of neighbors in zip code 32208; where according to the Florida Department of Health along with zip code 32209 deaths by cancer is doubled that of the entire State. Meet me in the Legend Center parking lot at 10:00 we will deploy from there.
