Fostering Connections is in need of volunteers to assist with check in & crafts at our bimonthly Foster/Adoptive Family Meet Ups for foster and adoptive families at Myrtle Ave Brewing's outdoor family patio area.
Our Foster/Adoptive Family Meet Ups are social events that bring foster and adoptive families together for an evening of dinner, activities, and community building.
Check In Volunteer duties include:
-Help check in families.
-Give meal tickets to families.
Craft duties include:
Interact with families while teaching them how to make a themed craft (materials provided)
Notify supervisor and/or parent of any concerns.
Meet Ups are held bimonthly September-June (No Meet Up in May due to graduations). One volunteer for crafts and two volunteers are needed for check in each event.
All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and background screening in order to volunteer at this event.
