Fostering Connections is in need of volunteers to assist with check in & childcare at our Family Empowerment Nights for foster and adoptive families at The Performers Academy.
Our Family Empowerment Nights are social events that bring foster and adoptive families together for an evening of dinner, activities, and community building.
Volunteer duties include:
-Help check in families.
-Serve meals to families.
-Interact with families during dinner
-Lead activity stations during dinner
-Help clean up dining area
-Assist with transition to breakout sessions
-Provide childcare 0-3 or 4-7
-Offer support to the Teaching Artist (art/dance with youth)
-Notify supervisor and/or parent of any concerns.
Meet Ups are held monthly September-January and April. Many volunteers are needed for each event.
All volunteers must complete a volunteer application and background screening in order to volunteer at this event.
