An extension of our campus gift shop, the snack cart volunteer takes the lightweight cart around to various locations within the hospital offering snacks for sale to our staff and visitors to our campus. This role is well received and is the perfect way to serve if you are outgoing, active and enjoy interacting with people.

Ongoing opportunities do not have an end date and are readily available with few time constraints. They are often skills-based and are perfect for individual development. Additionally, these opportunities allow volunteers to assist with a crucial need in the community, help to build capacity for agencies, and enable the volunteer to build a relationship with the recipient organization.
Please note that while most of these opportunities give the volunteer the flexibility to work from home, a few may require the volunteer to be present on site. Also, as some needs require training, a commitment of at least 6 months may be requested.
