From living in unstable environments, homelessness, and access to resources, students are struggling now more than ever from problems caused by situational poverty. The Giving Closet Project's goal is to keep them from feeling the embarrassment, shame, and negative effects that stem from circumstances outside of their control.
Volunteers are needed to sort and prepare school uniforms for distribution to students in need. The demand for uniforms from struggling families has been overwhelming this year and these distributions can't happen without the assistance of volunteers.
In addition, volunteers will perform quality control and process donations, hanging/sorting clothing, labeling bins, sizing clothing, prepare for Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
Please note that there is a chance that the location may change to another school, depending on the need.
