Ongoing opportunities do not have an end date and are readily available with few time constraints. They are often skills-based and are perfect for individual development. Additionally, these opportunities allow volunteers to assist with a crucial need in the community, help to build capacity for agencies, and enable the volunteer to build a relationship with the recipient organization.
Please note that while most of these opportunities give the volunteer the flexibility to work from home, a few may require the volunteer to be present on site. Also, as some needs require training, a commitment of at least 6 months may be requested.
The food farmacy offers our patients who meet requirements access to foods tailored to their health needs. Help the food farmacy and social services hub by stocking and organizing the food on the day it's delivered.
Wednesday mornings is typically the time/day that assistance is needed.
