April is Autism Month and Dick's Wings & Grill wants to do its part to help nonprofits in any way they can!
This month's Jeep Night will be benefiting Making Strides For Autism, Inc. (MS4A); and Dick’s Wings Cheaper for Jeepers Event will be Jeepin’ 4 Autism! Dick’s Wings have chosen our organization because of all the hard work we have put forth with autism families that live within the 5 surrounding First Coast counties.
Making Strides For Autism, Inc. is looking for enthusiastic event volunteers who can bring people together to raise funds to provide Sensory Bags to local children on the autism spectrum and classrooms in the fall.
Event Location: Dick’s Wings & Grill (Argyle/Blanding), 6055 Youngerman Circle, Jacksonville, FL 32244
Date/Time: Tuesday, April 12th, 5:30 pm - 10 pm
Volunteers are needed to assist with the following:
- Set up / dismantle any displays and activity stations
- Meet and greet public
- Answer general questions
- Provide MS4A general marketing materials in the event parking lot and inside at the MS4A main table
- Monitor children's activities table and assist with children's activities
- Check out and In Loaner Sensory Bags, Ensure all bags are returned and sanitized by end of the event
- Monitor the Silent Auction table, get signups and announce winners
- Assist Dick's Wings staff in event activities: Cornhole Tournament, 50/50 raffle, T-Shirt sales, ensure attendees are enjoying the event, etc
- Assist Executive Appointed Senior Volunteers in donation collections and issuing donation gifts
- General clean up
