Any day, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., serve as an ambassador of good will to those in the hospital. Volunteers with the Visitation Program functions as an ambassador of goodwill visiting and interacting with patients, families and staff. The volunteer's mission is to lift the spirit and reduce the emotional suffering of those who are ill and alone. Volunteers seek to communicate in ways that show compassion and concern by bringing encouragement, hope and joy to patients who might otherwise have no visitors. The volunteer's role is to care and to listen.
