Join United Way of Northeast Florida’s Day of Action at the Greater Springfield Family Resource Center as we assemble personal care kits for students and families within our Full Service Schools network.
Volunteers will help pack kits with everyday hygiene items like shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other basic care essentials that many of us barely think twice about, but that can make a major difference for a child trying to get through the school day with confidence and dignity.
For students already navigating difficult circumstances, not having access to basic hygiene products can affect far more than comfort. It can impact self-esteem, concentration, school attendance, and even how they’re treated by peers. This project helps support students in a practical, deeply human way, one kit at a time.
