The Tour and Block Party is part of the Prosperity Starts with Place: Conference, bringing together community leaders and partners from across the country who are reimagining what thriving neighborhoods can look like.
This Historic Eastside activation shines a spotlight on local leadership, youth voices, community wellness, and the ongoing work of investing in place with purpose and care.
More than an event, this is a chance to help create a vibrant, welcoming outdoor experience where guests connect directly with the neighborhood through guided tours, storytelling, local programming, and community celebration.
Volunteers will help bring the energy of the day to life while supporting a powerful national conversation rooted right here in Jacksonville’s Historic Eastside.
Help set the tone for the day by creating a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience for guests throughout the event. You’ll greet attendees, answer questions, provide general guidance, and help visitors confidently navigate programming and activity spaces so the day feels smooth, engaging, and easy to enjoy. A brief orientation will be provided before the event to walk you through everything you need to know and help you feel prepared in your role.
