Not available on MLK Day? Join us on the 15th to help prepare an important community space for transformation! This behind-the-scenes work makes our MLK Day of Service painting and clean-up possible—and it’s a great way to contribute if you’re unable to volunteer on the day itself. We are supporting Pastor Dinkins of The Worship Center, home of the original Daily Manna Serving Center — a lifeline for families seeking meals, support, and connection. Daily Manna Serving Center #2 will build on that legacy by offering new opportunities, skills training, and community space.
Volunteers will help prepare the building for MLK Day of Service painting and clean-up activities by:
- Pressure washing exterior surfaces that will be painted
- Clearing vines around the building and remove any vegetation that might interfere with painting.
- Helping label items to keep or toss inside the building to prepare for the larger clean-out and organizing
This behind-the-scenes work is essential to making the MLK Day project a success. Your efforts will help ensure the building is ready to become a bright, welcoming hub for the community.
