United Way is proud to partner with Destined for a Change, Feeding Northeast Florida, and beloved Eastside community champion Honey Holzendorf to bring a much-needed food distribution to the Phoenix neighborhood for MLK Day of Service.
Volunteers are needed to set up distribution tables, pack, manage lines, assist neighbors with receiving groceries, and help hand out special “Love Packages” containing hygiene items and handwritten notes of encouragement for families and seniors. This site will serve as a welcoming pickup location, offering nourishment, care, and hope to households experiencing basic-needs challenges.
