We are excited to announce our upcoming Dignity Day Event, scheduled for June 27, 2025 at 645 Oak Street, Jacksonville Florida 32204 and we need your help to make it a success! This event aims to provide essential support and resources to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community, and we invite you to join us as a volunteer.
What is Dignity Day Event?
The Dignity Day Event will serve as a one-stop resource fair, offering vital services such as general health screenings, mental health support, job resources, legal assistance, and access to food, clothing, and hygiene products. By volunteering you can help create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure that attendees receive the support they need.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to assist with various roles, including:
Event Setup and Breakdown: Help prepare the venue and clean up after the event.
Registration and Check-In: Welcome attendees and provide information about available services.
Service Support: Assist local organizations with providing services to participants.
Food and Refreshments: Help distribute food and refreshments to attendees.
General Assistance: Provide support wherever needed to ensure the event runs smoothly.
