One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime—That's our moms, grandma's aunties, daughters, wives, friends, and co-workers. Sometimes it's our dads, husbands, and brothers too!
It is often said that early detection is key to surviving cancer. But you can't detect a symptom you don't know. That's why we are taking it to the Streets for Life on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Our mission is to drop Buddy Check 12 breast cancer packets on residence doors in zip code 32206, where breast cancer deaths are almost double the state average. We are canvassing Springfield, Harrison, Van Buren, Spearing, A.Phillip Randolph, Evergreen, Franklin, and the Brentwood lakes community.
