THE PLAYERS Championship 2023

This event is hosted by the catering company, Par Caterers LLC.  Stage Aurora Theatrical Company is the charity that will benefit from your volunteering. to help serve food and beverages.  Your involvement will generate much needed funds so that we can continue to produce theatrical works that best exemplify Black and Faith-based Theatre, serve underserved communities and diverse audiences; Provide valuable learning opportunities for our local youth, collaborate and share with existing theatrical organizations both locally and nationally, develop a multicultural audience that best exemplifies the standards of Stage Aurora as an institution of the essence of the human experience just to name a few ways that we help others.

Description: 

What does a typical day look like? Depending on shift time, volunteer groups will check in 30 minutes to an hour earlier. This allows everyone to get situated, stands set up, and food ready for guests as they enter the course. Volunteers will be providing positive guests experiences by taking and fulfilling food and beverage orders with guests, preparing menu items, or helping run food/pour drinks! From start to finish it’s about an 6-8 hour day.

Will we receive training?  On game day, all stands will have a supervisor overseeing it to help train your group!

How old do volunteers have to be? 16+ older to volunteer. 21+ to serve/pour alcohol.  Volunteers younger than 16 are to be accompanied by someone 18 or older.

*Two voluteers may split the number of hours.  Example: for an 8 hour day, if volunteer #1 works 4 hours then voluteer #2 must work the remaining 4 hours.  Please note: No one will be allowed to work part of a shift without having someone to work the remaining part.  Also, an unlimited number of volunteers may work from 11:00 a.m. to Close on any day.  And, a volunteer may work more than one shift, but each shift has to be on different days.  Please contact us at the number below for any additional information or to make special requests.  Thank you.
