Who We Are

Stage Aurora began its journey at the Florida State College at Jacksonville’s North Campus (formerly FCCJ) around 2001. And later moved to their own facility in the Gateway Town Center. But in September 2015 after eight years at Gateway, they were told that because the portion of the Mall where they were housed needed renovation, they along with other tenants had to move out. Therefore, although it has not been easy, Stage Aurora has operated without a facility for   eight years. Despite the hardship of operating without a facility for eight years, Stage Aurora has persevered and gone from strength to strength.

What We Do

Recently, we presented Sister Act Jr of which young people from ages 5 to 19 years participated. As expressed by them and their parents, the show was a great opportunity for them to be involved in something to help get their mind off of this pandemic we are in. "We are happy to add that this was an outdoor performance with social distancing in place". The first of its kind here in Jacksonville, Florida. Our aim is to continue to meet important needs in their community through the arts. We are here to be inclusive of every nationality, ethnic origin, social history, and religious preference. We are a multicultural family growing and expanding daily. Our mission to provide a safe and enriching environment for everyone is our top priority. We hope to continue to bring joy and unity through a variety of performances in the future.
