The Whole You Women's Expo is a FREE event scheduled to take place on June 29, 2024 at the Schultz Center. This event aims to empower minority women on their self-care journey. We believe that by providing resources such as financial literacy, affordable housing, dental care, health screenings, mental health services, self-care stations, professional development, safety education, and educational opportunities, we can make a significant impact on the lives of these women.
Last year, we were able to serve about 1,500, primarily African American women in the community at Edward Waters University. We provided free entry as well as free childcare to remove some of the barriers that prevent women from attending events such as this. Thanks to our sponsors, we provided Free Health Screenings which tested for ailments this population statistically has a higher chance of being diagnosed with. This year, we will serve 3,000 women!
