The mission of Family Foundations is "to maximize the potential of individuals and families in Northeast Florida to lead better lives." Through the delivery of high quality and affordable financial stability and mental health counseling services, Family Foundations envisions a thriving community of financially and emotionally stronger individuals and families.
In our Financial Wellness program, we help families and individuals take control of their finances and improve their financial futures. We offer financial counseling and education, housing counseling, bankruptcy counseling, and foreclosure intervention services focused on helping improve the financial stability and self-sufficiency for families.
Our Family and Individual Counseling Services (FICS) Program offers solutions and empowers families and individuals to resolve difficulties, improve relationships and enhance their lives. Through FICS, we also partner with the Partnership for Child Health on a Criminal Justice Reinvestment Grant which aims to reduce youth violence and decrease involvement in the juvenile justice system. Westside Full Service Schools, a partnership with the United Way of Northeast Florida, helps school-aged youth eliminate barriers to educational attainment.
