The Jacksonville Humane Society prides itself on being a community resource center for people and the pets they love. To this end, we regularly partner with organizations across the community to meet their ever-changing needs. The Jacksonville Humane Society provides care, comfort and compassion to animals in need while engaging the hearts, hands and minds of our community to bring about an end to the killing of abandoned and orphaned shelter animals. We offer volunteer opportunities for youth, individuals and groups.
