Join the 2025 Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive!

Thousands of students every year start school without essential supplies for academic success. Moreover, teachers spend hundreds of dollars out of their pockets annually to properly stock their classrooms. 

From now through August 1, 2025, United Way of Northeast Florida, Impact Clay,  Clay Education Fund, and First Coast News are coming together once again to Stuff the Bus in Duval and Clay Counties. This annual initiative supports local classrooms, teachers, and students in need. By making a personal donation or hosting a school supply drive, you and your team can make a meaningful impact—helping ensure every student starts the school year with the tools they need to succeed. Join us in addressing this critical need and transforming the lives of students across Jacksonville and Orange Park.

Why It Matters: Nearly 40% of households in Northeast Florida struggle to afford basic necessities. Over a third of residents live in or near poverty. By donating as an individual or organizing a school supply drive with Stuff the Bus, you can directly address this issue and transform the lives of students in Duval and Clay County.

Your Impact: 

Duval County: Donations support eight Full Service Schools Family Resource Centers, benefiting 151 schools and more than 100,000 students.

Clay County: Contributions aid the Clay County Education Foundation, supporting 47 schools and over 40,000 students.

Option 1: Host a School Supply Drive

Make an Individual Monetary Donation

If you can't participate in person, consider a monetary donation in lieu of donating physical items. Your gift is strategically leveraged to deliver more support to local schools. To donate now, text “classrooms25” to 30306, or visit our donation webpage by clicking below. This link will be open for donations until September 30, 2025.

If you’re donating physical items, check out the list of the most-needed school supplies and drop-off locations for each county by clicking the button below.

Then, on August 1, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., swing by the bus at the location listed for your county on the supply list. When you arrive, just pop your trunk or open your doors—we’ll handle the rest! It's that easy to help local students start the school year strong.
