Volunteer: AssistantAssistant with persons with disabilities: Would you like to share life with people with and without disabilities, entering into the joys and sorrows that are a part of Community living? Volunteers add to the fullness of life by assisting the residents (Core Members) with daily tasks and some personal care as a live-in companion. This may include training in hygiene, and working together in meal preparation, housekeeping and social activities. Volunteers receive room and board and a stipend to cover their living expenses. Training provided including a background check. And if you love to feed a crowd, we have community gatherings where up to 50 people are present. Hopefully you can stay and enjoy the evening, although this is optional.
