You may choose to spend quality time providing companionship to patients by reading, taking walks, writing letters or simply enjoying conversations with them. Volunteer: Veterans Outreach

The Community Hospice Veterans Partnership (CHVP) needs volunteers to help reach the estimated 250,000 veterans residing in Northeast Florida who might need end-of-life care. CHVP volunteers conduct speaking engagements at various veterans’ service organizations, and participate in veterans-related events throughout our five-county service area. Volunteers also are needed to record the oral histories of area veterans for the Veteran’s History Project (vhpfirstcoast.org).
