Ongoing opportunities do not have an end date and are readily available with few time constraints. They are often skills-based and are perfect for individual development. Additionally, these opportunities allow volunteers to assist with a crucial need in the community, help to build capacity for agencies, and enable the volunteer to build a relationship with the recipient organization.
Please note that while most of these opportunities give the volunteer the flexibility to work from home, a few may require the volunteer to be present on site. Also, as some needs require training, a commitment of at least 6 months may be requested.
Organizing and thorough cleaning of our George Washington Carver Elementary School location. Sorting and hanging new uniforms, organizing our coat closet, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down counters and cabinets.
Please make sure you bring a valid I.D. and check-in at the front office.
