Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Are Always Needed!

Ongoing opportunities do not have an end date and are readily available with few time constraints. They are often skills-based and are perfect for individual development. Additionally, these opportunities allow volunteers to assist with a crucial need in the community, help to build capacity for agencies, and enable the volunteer to build a relationship with the recipient organization.

Please note that while most of these opportunities give the volunteer the flexibility to work from home, a few may require the volunteer to be present on site. Also, as some needs require training, a commitment of at least 6 months may be requested.

Make a Difference with The Giving Closet Project!

We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help clean and pack up one of our build outs at George Washington Carver Elementary School.

Volunteer Roles

Sort & Organize Clothing (pack them into bins)
Clean/tidy the room
Help load/unload boxes
