Location: The Giving Closet Project Warehouse - 600 Suemac Road, Jacksonville, FL 32254
Join us for Warehouse Wednesday, where volunteers play a vital role in helping The Giving Closet Project support students in need throughout our community. Your time and effort directly impact how quickly essential items reach the students who rely on them.
Please Note: This volunteer shift involves manual labor, including lifting, moving inventory, and working in a warehouse environment. The warehouse is not temperature controlled, so conditions may be warmer or cooler depending on the weather. However, accommodations will be made to help ensure volunteer comfort during shifts.
What Volunteers Will Do:
- Sort shipments and organize incoming donations
- Unpack boxes and separate items by category
- Break down boxes and manage packing materials
- Prep supplies for distribution
- Assist with moving and restocking inventory (some lifting may be required)
- Help maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient warehouse environment
