Farm Share has a new program for seniors called the CSFP Senior program. With our CSFP program, we are able to supply seniors( ages 60+) in Florida with monthly supplemental groceries such as canned goods, juices, milk, cheese, cereal, etc.
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of low-income persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA Foods.
We are in need of volunteers to help bag and box food for our monthly senior food assistance program.
This program provides most of the groceries for seniors in surrounding counties.
Help is needed on an ongoing basis!
