North Riverside CDC and partner organization Groundwork Jacksonville understand that neighborhood blight creates deep negative impacts on afflicted communities. Blighted properties can decrease surrounding property values, undermine the health of local housing markets, pose safety hazards, and reduce local tax revenue. For residents, living in blighted areas can lead to increased stress, lower quality of life, and diminished community pride. For Day of Action, volunteers are needed to clean up North Riverside’s Biggs, Smith, and Stockton streets. Help clear overgrown brush and remove litter and debris to enhance the living environment for residents in this vulnerable neighborhood. Street beautification projects are more than aesthetics; they're about fostering pride, dignity, and a sense of community. Your hands can make North Riverside thrive. Let's cultivate a brighter, cleaner future together!
