St. Johns Riverkeeper, in partnership with LISC, and needs volunteers to help clean up Ribault Preserve and Harborview Boat Ramp! Come enjoy a day outside and help collect litter from two highly trafficked water-access points on the Ribault River. These tributaries flow into the St. Johns, and their health directly impacts the water quality of the St. Johns River. Cleaning these sites will help us accomplish our goals of equitable resource access for all of Jacksonville's residents.
When: Saturday, January 20th, 2024 - 9am to 11am
Where: Ribault River Reserve (2617 Ribault Scenic Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32208) and Harborview Boat Ramp (4100 Harbor View Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32208)
What to Bring:
- FULL Reusable Water Bottle
- Sun Protection (Hat, Sunglasses, Sunscreen)
- Closed toe shoes (required) – Rain boots, work boots, or waders are extremely helpful!
- Optional: Heavy duty gloves (if desired)
Cleanup gloves and bags will be provided.
