Many seniors in Nassau County face the challenge of maintaining their homes, lacking the financial means or physical ability to do so. This MLK Day of Service, join Nassau Council on Aging’s dedicated CHORE team volunteers and be a force for good in the lives of Nassau’s seniors’ citizens, making homes safer and more comfortable for seniors in need, ensuring that the owners can stay in their own homes and age with dignity and independence
Volunteers are needed do minor repairs, yard clean up, and other essential maintenance tasks, all contributing to the well-being of those who have paved the way for our community and turning the dream of a caring and inclusive community into a reality.
