With your help, we can provide families who would otherwise be without a Thanksgiving dinner to remember. Register yourself or your team, and we will share a suggested list of items as well as information about the family you'll be helping or you can download the list here.

Short on time, but would still like to help? A gift card can be purchased in lieu of a basket.

Thanksgiving baskets need to be delivered to the families’ Full Service Schools site no later than Nov.18   to ensure they can be given to the families before Thanksgiving. You must arrange this drop-off beforehand through United Way.

On Saturday November 22nd, Farm Share will be hosting a thanksgiving food distribution for 2000+ families. The distribution will be a drive-thru distribution located @ FSCJ Downtown Campus (101 W State St Jacksonville, FL 32202 Lot # 4). 

The Center of Hope is hosting our Jolly Jamboree on Saturday; December 6th and we need enthusiastic volunteers to help make this community Christmas celebration a success! Volunteers are needed for:

Friday, December 5th – 5:00pm to 8:00pm: Help with decorating

Saturday, December 6th – 9:00am to 12:00pm: Help set up the event space (tables, game stations)

Saturday, December 6th – 12:00pm to 3:30pm: Assist with game stations, greet and guide families, monitor the floor and doors

Saturday, December 6th – 3:30pm to 5:00pm: Help clean up, pack up supplies, and restore the space

This is a great opportunity to support families in the 32209 community, spread holiday cheer, and be part of a festive, joyful day. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and there will be a volunteer raffle, breakfast/lunch provided.

Adopting a family allows businesses, community members and organizations to provide local families with food, necessities, and gifts during the holidays. Sponsors will specify the household size of the family they wish to adopt and will be given a choice of two families in need within our Full Service Schools network. First names, ages, clothing sizes and wish ideas are provided to sponsors so they can purchase items of their choice for each member of the household.

Help provide someone in need a happy holiday! Whether you choose to sponsor a child or senior in need or a volunteer who wishes to help directly interact and get gifts for those in need, all are welcomed.

This is both a drive and a volunteer opportunity.

You can help give so that the needy can enjoy a happy Thanksgiving in Florida. JFCS provides through its Thanksgiving baskets care packages to those that would otherwise not be able to celebrate the holiday.
