The Jacksonville Historical Society is in its 94th year of preserving the history and events that make Jacksonville unique. JHS preserves and curates the past in order to inform future leaders and citizens for a more resilient future.
What We Do
JHS preserves Jacksonville's unique history in order to share this history with successive generations through carefully researched educational programs, with the goal of gaining wisdom from our past.
