Who We Are
Children’s Home Society (CHS) was founded in 1902 with the mission to build bridges to success for children, a vision of a world where children realize their potential, and the goal to provide opportunities for healthy family development.
What We Do
Children’s Home Society aims to break the generational cycle of abuse and neglect through three key program focus areas: Prevention, Intervention, and Community services. Locally, our Northeast Florida office serves more than 3,000 children and families every day in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns counties through more than 20 programs including case management for dependents in foster care, Community Partnership Schools working to provide services for children in four local area public schools, outpatient therapy, and adoptions.
