Who We Are
Community Hospice & Palliative Care is an innovative national leader in palliative and hospice care, as well as providing programs and services to meet the diverse needs of the communities it serves. We have served nearly 200,000 adults and children. Through the support of more than 950 employees and 1,000 volunteers, the organization helps approximately 1,500 patients per day to live better with advanced illness – at home, in long-term care and assisted living facilities, in hospitals and at its eight inpatient care centers. Community Hospice & Palliative Care volunteers are vital members of our team. Whether you offer companionship and a listening ear to patients and family members, help with administrative work at one of our office locations or assist at fundraising events, there’s a volunteer opportunity for everyone! All new Community Hospice & Palliative Care volunteers attend an orientation to help prepare them for their role. As a volunteer, you can help improve the quality of life in your community. Training is provided and you can volunteer in the following counties:
