What We Do

Points of Light – the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service – mobilizes millions of people to take action and change the world. To bring the power of people where it’s needed most, we:

  • Inspire people to become or continue volunteering
  • Increase the impact of volunteer service
  • Equip volunteers to solve specific problems
  • Create a culture that encourages volunteerism

Community Wide Calendar – Our community calendar provides a diverse option of volunteer opportunities that are event based, episodic, on-going and even DIY (Do It Yourself) spanning various times, days of the week and issue areas.

Nonprofit Partnerships – A few ways in which we support our nonprofit partner members are through access to United Way's Volunteer Hub and its volunteer recruitment and management technology, opportunities for kit and item donations, and general support and consulting advice of United Way of Northeast Florida's Volunteer and Community Engagement team.
