Custom Projects
Can't find exactly what you need? If you have a budget and would like a specially designed project, we can design, coordinate, and lead a more transformative project just for your team. The budget is flexible based on the type of project and the scope.
Custom Projects are usually done onsite at an agency or the home of a homeowner in need. They can include a wide range of improvement and beautification activities, such as painting (inside and out), landscaping, light repairs, installing or maintaining Born Learning Trails, and remodeling teachers’ lounges—there is a lot of variety. Prices usually fall between $750-$3000 but can be more or less depending on the needs of the volunteers and agency. In general, the cost is $75 per volunteer plus supply costs over $350, though this can be negotiable, also depending on the project.

Meet ALICE: A Poverty Simulation Experience
ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed—the hardworking individuals and families who still struggle to afford life’s basics. In this powerful two-hour simulation, participants take on the roles of ALICE families navigating tough financial decisions week by week, while volunteers act as landlords, utility collectors, and service providers. It’s an eye-opening, empathy-building experience that brings the realities of economic hardship to life—perfect for corporate, civic, or leadership groups looking to drive understanding and inspire change. Flexible formats available: in-person, tabletop, and virtual.

Year-long or Multi-Year Engagement Plans
Developing an annual or multi-year volunteer engagement plan is a crucial step for companies committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It serves as a roadmap for integrating your company’s values into community engagement, ensuring volunteer efforts align with your mission, strengths, and goals.
A well-structured CSR plan leads to more meaningful, sustainable impact, benefiting both the community and the employees who participate. It also helps tackle Northeast Florida’s toughest challenges while fostering a workplace culture where employees feel more connected to both the community and your organization.
